Biography

Loyalty survives a king's surrender

Lancaster stands beside Kancilot as the king prepares to challenge Atticus, sharing the fear and confusion produced by the child god's impossible Will. When Kancilot returns defeated and announces submission, Lancaster is shocked but reads the burden on his old friend's shoulders instead of immediately rebelling. He then accepts Atticus's Will-binding with the other circle members, extending loyalty to the choice that preserves Kariot. (Chapters 1305–1317)

Appearance and personality
