Jezeneth advises her granddaughter during the Nexus aftermath and rejects diplomacy in favor of direct Vampyros advantage. Her later role in an attempted trap makes her one of the powerful enemies set against Atticus, but Ozeroth repeatedly tears off her head during the confrontation. The defeat contributes to powers Atticus later unlocks and demonstrates how badly her confidence misjudges the entity accompanying him. (Chapters 781–786, 1135, 1147, and 1191)

Appearance and personality
