Isabella recognizes Atticus's unusual needs earlier than most instructors and repeatedly pushes Harrison to give him harder, more individualized training. When overruled, she still teaches bluntly, monitors his battles, and protects him during the dangerous exosuit experiment, even confronting her father over the risk. Her delight in Atticus's later victory validates her judgment without turning their relationship into favoritism. (Chapters 177–292, 264–424, and 740–776)
