Helios Stellaris

Helios Stellaris is a recurring supporting figure whose choices clarify the pressures surrounding the principal cast and institutions.

Biography

Pride brought down by war

Helios leads the Stellaris armada against the Ravensteins and answers Avalon with mockery rather than retreat. Their domains collide in a destructive aerial battle, but Avalon's fire overwhelms his and leaves him battered. The peace settlement surrenders Helios for execution; the Ravensteins instead hold him, remove his powers inside a secure cell, and let Avalon confront him physically, after which the corpus leaves his survival uncertain. (Chapters 689, 696–702, and 713–738)

Appearance and personality

He has bright orange hair and initially carries the radiant, proud bearing associated with Stellaris authority. Defeat leaves that hair matted with blood and his body visibly battered, while captivity replaces public grandeur with defiant smirking. (Chapters 689, 697, and 718)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Helios is a high-ranking fire user whose domain spreads intense flame and contests Avalon's over a broad battlefield. Domain collision demonstrates both scale and hierarchy: his power devastates the surroundings but loses when Avalon's control proves superior. In the prison, suppression removes mana and bloodlines, confirming that his later fistfight is physical rather than an activation of his usual element. (Chapters 696–702 and 718)

Relationships

Avalon Ravenstein is his decisive battlefield enemy; Luminous Stellaris is the family elder forced to accept his surrender.
