Gideon

Gideon is a massive Obsidian Order fighter used to hold powerful Ravenstein defenders in place during the assault on their estate.

Biography

The Order's blocking force

Gideon first appears handling a large beast until Elysia's voice stops him instantly, establishing both his physical power and his fear of her authority. During the estate battle he engages the defenders and specifically prevents Boman from returning to allies in danger, using pressure and position to keep the Ravenstein side divided. He later appears above Atticus with Alvis, Elysia, and Blackgate as the conflict escalates, but the supplied chapters do not separately confirm whether he survives its conclusion. (Chapters 663, 698–708, and 840)

Appearance and personality

Gideon is exceptionally muscular and imposing, able to lift and throw a beast. That physical confidence disappears around Elysia, whose childlike voice makes him tense immediately, suggesting obedience rooted in fear. (Chapter 663)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Gideon relies on immense strength, battlefield interception, and enough mobility to stop Grandmaster Boman from reinforcing the estate defenders. The corpus does not identify his element, bloodline, weapon, named techniques, rank, or Will, and his last appearance does not show a conclusive personal outcome. (Chapters 663 and 698–708)
