Gerald Stellaris
Gerald Stellaris is Seraphin's older brother and one of the academy's established third-year geniuses before Atticus overturns the inherited student hierarchy.
Biography
Established genius displaced
Gerald enters as an older academy elite already recognized through the Stellaris family and his third-year standing. He participates in the shifting alliances and confrontations around Atticus, initially sharing the senior students' habit of dismissing the newcomer with only a glance. Atticus's victories dismantle that certainty and leave Gerald among the former elites later gathered under a very different balance of power. His final appearance alongside Seraphine, Dell, and other heirs is presence rather than renewed agency. (Chapters 315–375, 404–508, 689, and 1221)
Appearance and personality
The corpus does not securely establish Gerald's detailed physical features. He is reserved, status-conscious, and initially confident enough to treat Atticus as inconsequential, though the academy's results deny him grounds for that dismissal. (Chapters 315 and 439–440)
Abilities, bloodlines, and will
Gerald's genius status and third-year position establish strong academy-level ability, but the supplied passages do not cleanly isolate his personal Stellaris mechanics, named techniques, element, weapon, costs, or later Will. Family association alone is insufficient to assign another Stellaris member's demonstrated powers to him. (Chapters 315–375 and 469–508)
Relationships
- Seraphin Stellaris: His younger sibling and fellow academy elite.
- Atticus Ravenstein: The rising student Gerald initially dismisses.
- Zezazeus and Sonorous: Senior students whose old hierarchy he shares.
