Garvin Emberforge
Garvin Emberforge is the Human Domain's foremost blacksmith, whose quiet work makes Will-compatible training, armor, and refined materials possible for Atticus's allies.
Biography
The forge behind humanity's rise
Garvin joins Oberon in converting theory into usable infrastructure, absorbing the supplied design information and confirming that an advanced training room can be built. Their collaboration produces the room in a day and later expands into weapons and armor for the paragons. While others fight publicly, Garvin spends months underground refining difficult Will-conducting ore, accepting exhaustion as the price of preparing the next campaign. Atticus's praise embarrasses him, but renewed work and a final expectant smile show that craft, not recognition, remains his motivation. (Chapters 945–965, 1096–1100, and 1597–1670)
Appearance and personality
Garvin is hulking, muscular, stoic, and almost always seen with a hammer in the smithy. He smiles faintly while absorbed in work and blushes at direct praise, revealing a shy satisfaction beneath his otherwise impassive manner. (Chapters 1597–1598 and 1629–1630)
Abilities, bloodlines, and will
Garvin forges high-rank training spaces, paragon equipment, and Will-conducting materials in collaboration with Oberon. His process requires sustained hammer work, specialized ore, and long periods of refinement that visibly fatigue him. The corpus does not define a personal element, bloodline, combat Will, or whether all design effects originate from him rather than Oberon's knowledge. (Chapters 945–965, 1096–1100, and 1597–1670)
