Gardener, whose personal name is Solren, is a middle-plane manipulator who cultivates people and worlds as possessions until Atticus and Whisker destroy him over Eldoralth.

Biography

The cultivator outmaneuvered

The Gardener turns the unwilling deaths of Eletrantron and Jezenet into a trap, treating their lives as material for harvesting Eldoralth's cores. He then battles Whisker across the planet while spreading his Will over most of the world, confident that perception and mental pressure make surprise impossible. Atticus becomes a singularity to erase his presence, cracks the Gardener's defense with an ambush, and creates the opening Whisker needs. Once the Gardener realizes his plan has failed, Whisker severs his head and consumes the body and shattered Will. (Chapters 1095–1140)

Appearance and personality

The Gardener cultivates a calm image of patient guidance, comparing sentient beings to plants shaped by a superior hand. Under defeat, that paternal pose collapses into rage, disbelief, and hatred, exposing nurture as a vocabulary for ownership and control. (Chapters 1095–1117 and 1131–1136)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

The Gardener spreads green Will over planetary distances, reads presences within it, shields his body with condensed Will, attacks minds, and fights Whisker while reshaping terrain across domains. Singularity can briefly remove Atticus from that perception; concentrated crimson Will cracks his defense, and coordinated pressure prevents recovery. His power is higher-plane Will mastery, not an identified bloodline, and its exact reserve limits remain unstated. (Chapters 1112–1136 and 1495)
