Dell Alverian
Dell Alverian is an Alverian heir whose cultivated family pride is broken by his attempt to stand against Atticus at the academy.
Biography
The exemplary son humbled
Dell first appears as the child his parents use to shame Lila into proper behavior, and he accepts the comparison with visible pride. That status follows him into the academy, where he becomes an important second-year heir within the coalition opposing Atticus. Atticus's uninterrupted barrage leaves Dell physically and psychologically overwhelmed. Years later, even among other former elites, Dell still shakes at the memory, showing that the defeat permanently displaced the confidence built by family approval and rank. (Chapters 34–36, 395–440, and 1221)
Appearance and personality
The corpus does not securely establish Dell's detailed appearance. He is initially smug, proud of being held up as the well-behaved sibling, and accustomed to heir-level importance; after the academy fight, fear rather than pride defines his reaction to Atticus. (Chapters 34–36, 403, and 1221)
Abilities, bloodlines, and will
Dell is a strong Alverian student and significant heir, but the source passages do not clearly isolate a named personal ability from the wider battle. His precise element, bloodline mechanics, equipment, costs, and later Will are therefore unknown, and his defenses cannot stop Atticus's direct physical assault. (Chapters 395–440)
