Dario

Dario is Atticus's principal sanctum attendant, a smooth-spoken Master who combines household service with informed logistical support.

Biography

Attendant and information conduit

Dario is assigned to Atticus at the beginning of the sanctum period and immediately takes responsibility for schedules, access, and practical needs. His curiosity is personal as well as professional: after Atticus returns vastly stronger from the chasm, Dario bombards him with questions while continuing his duties. Atticus later measures the secrecy of needed intelligence against Dario's Master-rank access, showing that the attendant is well informed by ordinary standards even when excluded from the deepest political truths. Appearance and personality

Dario's voice is described as mellifluous, and his manner is formally attentive but openly inquisitive. He is more talkative than Yotad and comfortable enough with Atticus to voice rapid questions after a crisis. Detailed physical features are not securely established. (Chapters 532 and 663)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Dario is explicitly Master rank, a level that supports his trusted position and access to secure Ravenstein facilities.
