Bourn is Atticus's cousin in the Rion Sanctum and an Avatar whose quiet presence becomes crucial during the confrontation with Asmerion.

Biography

A cousin's intervention

Bourn is introduced to Atticus as a cousin about whom Ilyshkara has already spoken at length, placing him within a family network Atticus has only begun to understand. He accompanies Kalaxt's arrival and remains near the Primordial investigation rather than pushing himself forward. When Ilyshkara's actions turn dangerous, Bourn stretches his power toward her despite blood streaming from his eyes and nose, demonstrating both personal resolve and a costly effort to resist the influence at work.
