Boman is the Ravenstein household's veteran butler, combining domestic service with Grandmaster-level responsibility for the family's defense.

Biography

Household veteran

Boman welcomes Avalon home with the formal respect of a servant and the understanding of an old soldier. That military past becomes immediately relevant during the Obsidian Order assault, when he watches the enemy branches, joins Anastasia, Freya, and Arya in defense, and tries to return to endangered allies even while Gideon blocks him. He survives the battle and later witnesses the family's reunion, his service intact after the estate's crisis. (Chapters 5–36 and 685–794)

Appearance and personality

Boman is an older man with a weathered veteran's face and eyes marked by experience of war. He is resilient, formal, and deeply attached to the household, showing warmth without abandoning the alertness of a professional guard. (Chapters 5, 699, and 794)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Boman is explicitly a Grandmaster and can participate in battles against senior Obsidian Order fighters. His speed and durability let him attempt reinforcement under heavy pressure, but Gideon can intercept and contain him. The corpus does not name Boman's element, bloodline, signature technique, weapon, or Will. (Chapters 5 and 698–708)
