Arya

Arya is Anastasia's Ravenblade, a shadow-trained bodyguard whose service to the Ravenstein household spans Atticus's infancy through the family's later wars.

Biography

A lifetime of protection

Arya watches over Anastasia and Atticus from his infancy, combining formal deference with genuine warmth. During the Obsidian Order assault she continues fighting after devastating injuries, dragging a useless leg rather than abandon her charge. Years later she still guards Atticus from concealment and is the rare person who continues calling him “young master.” Her eventual death is confirmed by Atticus's determination to reach the peak and restore her with the rest of his lost family. (Chapters 4–30, 698–728, 1059, 1422–1453, and 1737)

Appearance and personality

Arya is a woman of average height with short green hair. She is disciplined and self-effacing, but her warm smile around the infant Atticus and her stubborn endurance under injury show that her loyalty is personal, not merely contractual. (Chapters 4, 704, and 1059)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

As a Ravenblade, Arya specializes in concealment, speed, and protection. She can remain as a faint, flickering shadow invisible to observers below master rank, then expand back into visible form. Severe physical injury still limits her movement, and the corpus does not name her element, bloodline, formal techniques, or latest Will stage. (Chapters 698–728 and 1059)
