Ae'zard
Ae'zard is Ae'ark's grandfather and a senior Aeonian whose guarded dealings with Magnus help bring the human and Aeonian Apexes together.
Biography
Elder and reluctant partner
Ae'zard meets Magnus under mutually signed mana contracts and helps arrange the duel between Ae'ark and Atticus, treating it as both a test and a matter of racial consequence. He intervenes to heal his brutally injured grandson during the Nexus and later watches Atticus's rise with sober respect. When Atticus returns from the battle beyond the Aeonian Shield, Ae'zard opens the defense and admits him rather than obstructing the reunion. (Chapters 541–572, 742–768, 1117–1137)
Appearance and personality
Ae'zard presents himself with an elder's calm humor, but Magnus's caution shows that his serenity does not make him harmless. His strongest visible emotion is reserved for Ae'ark: he descends immediately when the youth is broken and reassures him while applying healing mana. (Chapters 541–542 and 768)
Abilities, bloodlines, and will
Ae'zard is a paragon capable of flight, powerful aura control, healing Ae'ark's severe wounds, and operating the opening in the Aeonian Aegis Shield. The source does not isolate a named personal bloodline technique or explain whether his access to the Shield is innate, administrative, or artifact-mediated, so those mechanics remain unknown. (Chapters 541, 768, and 1137)
