Gram is a Treasure-grade sword forged by the Orc Blacksmith and acquired by the Raven Knights Order for Kim Hyun-Seok's use. Its auction makes the smith internationally prominent, while its first battle demonstrates a built-in ranged flame attack against a Boss-level Flesh Golem.

History

Auction and institutional loan

Gram debuts as the final lot at the Hyunwol Auction House before an international audience of Knights, officials, business leaders, and celebrities. The Orc Blacksmith names it after a legendary dragon-slaying sword and presents it as an attempted reproduction of that legend. Its long pure-white mithril blade, golden hilt, and unornamented finish draw immediate attention despite lacking the smith's usual intricate carvings. Bidding lasts more than two hours before Raven, supported by the Korean government, wins at $165 million. The sword is then placed thirtieth on a contemporary list of the world's hundred best weapons, and Raven grants its Order Master a public ten-year loan rather than transferring institutional ownership. Once an unexpected water Titan creates an opening, Hyun-Seok leads the Knights' charge and fires a powerful flame projectile from Gram, carving a deep wound into the Golem's arm. The attack contributes to a coordinated victory with low casualties but does not destroy the Boss by itself. Later, when Yu-Rin receives Gungnir, Hyun-Seok's concern over which legendary weapon is superior shows Gram functioning as both combat equipment and a symbol of Raven's status.
