Kaiser the Second

Kaiser the Second is Yu Baek-Song's black feline companion, formally named “King of Siberia, Savage Black Leopold Tiger Kaiser the 2nd.” Kaiser's marked preference for Kim Sae-Jin exposes a playful domestic side of the Guild's covert meetings.

Biography

Nosferatu alliance and the Bathory conflict

Kaiser first appears struggling in Baek-Song's arms during a meeting with Sae-Jin. The cat bites her finger, breaks free, jumps to Sae-Jin, rubs against him, licks his hand, and resists being removed from his lap. Baek-Song says she has never seen Kaiser display so much affection and suspects Sae-Jin's scent. Kaiser subsequently remains present during preparations for the Bathory operation, repeatedly seeking Sae-Jin's lap even while Baek-Song attempts to keep the animal with her. (Chapters 132 and 135)

Kaiser continues sharing the Guild's increasingly domestic spaces rather than entering combat. The cat rests in a paper box during a formal party, returns to Baek-Song after the rescue operation, and later acts coquettishly on Sae-Jin's thighs while the group plans its cooperation against the Vampire Lord. The latest bundled appearance therefore leaves Kaiser alive within the Guild circle, functioning as a companion whose loyalties create comic tension between owner and preferred human. (Chapters 143, 146, and 152)

Appearance and personality

Kaiser is explicitly described as a black cat. The grand formal name includes the word “Tiger,” but the supplied chapters do not establish that Kaiser is literally a tiger or give a breed, size, sex, or eye color. Kaiser meows, licks hands, rubs face and body against people, and can rest comfortably inside a paper box. (Chapters 132 and 143)

The cat is affectionate, willful, and selective. Kaiser struggles against Baek-Song's restraint while eagerly clinging to Sae-Jin, showing much more overt affection toward him than Baek-Song has previously observed. The source suggests his scent as the cause but does not prove a supernatural bond. (Chapters 132 and 135)

Traits and abilities

The corpus assigns Kaiser no Trait, Skill, Mana, combat power, transformation, or supernatural sense. Demonstrated physical actions are limited to biting Baek-Song's finger, escaping her arms, jumping to Sae-Jin, and resisting removal from his lap. These establish ordinary feline agility and determination, not a ranked ability. (Chapter 132)

No progression or combat application is shown. Kaiser's latest state is still that of a living companion present during a high-level Guild meeting, with the same preference for physical closeness to Sae-Jin. (Chapter 152)

Relationships

  • Yu Baek-Song: Baek-Song is Kaiser's owner and insists on the cat's elaborate formal name. She holds, strokes, and retrieves Kaiser, but reacts possessively when the animal prefers Sae-Jin.
  • Kim Sae-Jin: Kaiser immediately seeks Sae-Jin's touch and lap, rubbing, licking, and acting coquettishly around him. Sae-Jin affectionately shortens the name before Baek-Song corrects him.

Items

Kaiser is a living companion, not an item. A paper box serves as a temporary resting place, but the supplied corpus gives the cat no named possession, collar, or artifact.
